Despite her infamous finer wagging incident earlier this month, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R) said Sunday morning that she would never disrespect President Barack Obama.
In an appearance on Meet The Press with California Governor Jerry Brown (D), Brewer was asked by host David Gregory if it was inappropriate for her to decline a dinner invitation from Obama for the upcoming National Governors? Conference.
?I hope that it isn?t disrespect,? she said. ?I would not disrespect the president of the United States. I have other commitments, and I?m going to be at the White House on Monday morning. I saw this event was a social thing. And I?m going to be at the White House Monday when we all meet and discuss policy.?
Earlier in the segment, Brewer endorsed former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for the GOP primary nomination.
