Victim: Male, date of birth 7-16-88

Gist: The victim was approached by 2 unknown males, who put a gun (95g) in his mouth and stole the victim's wallet containing cash, then fled.

Homicide by shooting and aggravated battery by shooting

Tuesday 19:21 hours

7000 block of Yorktown Drive

Victims: Male, date of birth 10-18-89 (deceased), Male, 09-28-84 (wounded), Male, 01-01-89 (wounded), Male, 08-23-85 (gunshot wound to the leg), Male, 03-10-88 (gunshot wound to upper body)

Gist: Three males opened fire in the block striking all 5 victims, fatally wounding one.

1100 block of Royal Street

Victim: Female, date of birth 3-2-52

Gist: The victim was approached by an unknown male who pointed a gun (95g) at her and demanded her iPhone. The subject grabbed the victim's iPhone and fled. The subject was later apprehended.

2100 block of Rampart St.

Victim: Male, date of birth 9-1-73

Gist: An unknown male asked the victim for the time. The victim pulled out his iPhone. The male produced a gun (95g) and took the victim's iPhone and fled. Same perp as above. The subject was apprehended.

2500 block of N. Galvez St.

Victim: Male

Gist: The victim was sitting in the back of a truck when an unknown male approached and shot the victim twice in the chest and once in the leg.

Armed Robbery

Tuesday 20:02 hours

5800 block of Clara St.

Victim: Female, date of birth 10-14-90

Gist: As the victim exited her vehicle an unknown male approached and demanded her purse and iPhone. The victim complied.

Carjacking

Tuesday 20:40 hours

3200 block of Gentilly Blvd.

Victim: Female, date of birth 5-11-99

Gist: The victim states she was approached by an unknown male who demanded her keys when she exited the store and fled in her vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered.

Armed Robbery

Tuesday 21:30 hours

600 block of Frenchmen St.

Victim: Female, date of birth 11-5-84, Male, 6-17-81

Gist: Both Victims were in the 600 block of Frenchmen St. taking photos, when approached by an unknown male armed with a black revolver. Perp demanded the victims iPhone and fled on foot and was later apprehended in the same area.

Aggravated Battery

Wednesday 00:40 hours

2000 block of Simon Bolivar Ave.

Victim: Male date of birth 10-15-71

Gist: The victim was involved in a physical altercation when he was stabbed to the upper left shoulder with a kitchen knife. The victim refused medical treatment.
